The hardest thing I’ve ever done

CARRY EVERYTHING.
KEEP MOVING.

Five days with no crew, no vehicle and no one carrying the load. Every kilometre—and every decision—was mine.

Food. Tent. Sleeping kit. Cooking equipment. Clothing. Everything needed to move, eat and sleep travelled on my back. Water came from the landscape, filtered for drinking and cooking. The first two nights, still high in the mountains, my breath froze into ice crystals on the inside of the tent. At first light, the 16 kg pack went back on.

Day 5 · The finish

THE DURANCE.
THE RHÔNE.

My amazing wife and my son were waiting for me in Avignon on Friday evening. After four days alone, the final day became simple: get to them as quickly as possible. They were my finish line—and my welcoming party where the Durance meets the Rhône.

The person behind the challenge

I AM
FFFHEALTH.

FFFHealth is personal. Felix built the brand around a simple idea: the plan has to be lived, tested and evolved in the real world. The FFF River Run was that philosophy stripped back to its rawest form—one person, one pack and five days of forward motion.
